#6: Rue McClanahan Kept Blanche’s Fabulous Wardrobe
Blanche Devereaux had one of the most memorable wardrobes on television, full of glamorous gowns, silky robes, and unmistakably bold fashion choices. Rue McClanahan loved the costumes so much that she made sure to include a special clause in her contract before the show even began.

The clause allowed her to keep all of Blanche’s custom-made clothing after the series ended. Over the years, the collection became massive. McClanahan reportedly filled 13 closets in her Sutton Place co-op in Manhattan with Blanche’s designer outfits, preserving one of TV’s most iconic wardrobes.
