Things Everyone Used to Have in the Past But Unfortunately Aren’t So Common Anymore

There is a saying from the dark ages of tech that will ring a bell for many elder millennials and above. “Be kind, rewind” undoubtedly brings to mind video rental stores and watching movies on VHS tape. Whenever you finished watching a VHS, it was common courtesy to rewind the entire tape so the next person didn’t have to spend precious moments rewinding it themselves.

Plus, if you didn’t rewind a tape all the way, you risked the next person popping in the VHS and accidentally watching spoilers mid-movie. No one wants that! People who didn’t rewind their video rentals before returning them to Blockbuster were the absolute worst. The modern-day equivalent would be someone who posts spoilers immediately after anticipated show debuts.
