Things Everyone Used to Have in the Past But Unfortunately Aren’t So Common Anymore

The internet has allowed anyone and everyone to overshare details of their personal lives. Is that a good thing? Not everyone thinks that it is. As we grow older, we realize that some things are best left personal. Many people came of age at a time when social media was just starting out. In our excitement, we may have started sharing too much.

We don’t need to share the intimate details of our lives with strangers on the internet– especially if we’re posting that stuff for free! The need to share everything about ourselves with the internet can be really toxic. Plus, experiencing life through a screen because we want to film everything is kind of dystopian. We miss the days when the personal was personal.
